Easy up – madly down ...
... this is how we like to call our weekly Freeride Tour.
Especially our home mountain, the Plose, but also the surrounding skiing areas (Gitschberg, Vals, Jochtal) are perfect playgrounds, since the highest peaks around Bressanone are easy to reach.
From the 24th to the 26th of September 2010, the 6th CAIDOM 2010 will take place on Mount Plose.
The name of the event, “Caidom”, combines the “CAI” Lodge and the “DOM” (= Cathedral) city square: the result is a Mountainbike Downhill Race (one of the longest and most beautiful in the world) from the highest point of the city of Bressanone – the Plose peak (2.576 m) – all the way down to the city square (566 m) with its beautiful Dom Cathedral.
